SELF_PICKUP
Shipping charge = ₹0
No shipping fee is added when pickup is selected.
DELIVERY
Calculated from bill amount
Bill amount = item subtotal + item tax total.
1. Shipping Charge Logic (As Implemented)
- If shipping mode is SELF_PICKUP: shipping charge is ₹0.
- If shipping mode is DELIVERY and bill amount is below ₹20,000: shipping charge is ₹200.
- If shipping mode is DELIVERY and bill amount is ₹20,000 or above: shipping charge is 1% of bill amount.

3. Tax on Shipping
Shipping charges are taxable in order totals.
- Shipping tax is applied using the configured shipping tax rate.
- Default configured rate is 18% unless overridden in environment configuration.
- This shipping tax is added to overall tax total and grand total.
4. Order Summary Behavior
In order calculations, shipping charges are folded into the effective subtotal before grand total computation.
Effective Subtotal = Item Subtotal + Shipping Charges
Grand Total = Effective Subtotal + Effective Tax Total - Discount
5. Delivery Coverage and Timing
We deliver across serviceable locations. Delivery timelines vary by pincode, courier availability, and operational conditions.
Shipping charges are determined by billing logic, not by an express/standard tier selector.
6. Order Tracking
Once your order is shipped, you will receive:
- SMS notification with tracking details
- Email with tracking link and courier information
- Real-time tracking updates in your account dashboard
7. Delivery Attempts
Our delivery partners will make up to 3 delivery attempts:
- If you're unavailable, the courier will leave a missed delivery notice
- You can reschedule delivery through our customer support
- After 3 failed attempts, the order will be returned to us
- A re-delivery charge may apply for returned orders
8. Important Notes
Address Accuracy
Please ensure your shipping address is complete and accurate. Incorrect addresses may cause delivery delays or returns.
Contact Number
Provide a valid contact number. Our delivery partner may call you for delivery coordination.
9. Damaged Shipments
If you receive a damaged package, please:
- Do not accept the delivery if the package is visibly damaged
- Take photos of the damaged package before opening
- Contact our customer support within 24 hours with photos
- We will arrange for a replacement or refund promptly
